Here at Robot Needs Home we’ve been looking after Waking Aida’s album releases since 2014, but we’ve known them much, much longer than that – from an early show with And So I Watch You From Afar in a tiny bar in Southampton, through more tours and festivals than we can remember, right up until this years incredible european tour with Maybeshewill.
It feels absolutely natural to be saying this: we will be looking after them on a more formal basis from this point forwards, helping them to achieve the potential we know they have after two incredible records which have gained praise across the board…
“A mere 15 months after the release of their majestic and ebullient debut album Eschaton, Waking Aida have crafted a worthy successor in Full Heal, 8 life-affirming tracks of sublime dreamy youthful post-rock.” – The Independent
“Waking Aida add a dash of puppyish brio to this often esoteric, serious-faced genre” – Q Magazine
“How To Build A Space Station is as starry and weightless as the title suggests” – NME
