The Robot Needs Home Collective makes “brilliant and unusual” things happen.
We also print merchandise and provide tour transport.
Founded in 2004 by Leicester based band Maybeshewill, Robot Needs Home was originally intended as a record label through which they could release their debut EP. In the following months and years we began working with other artists we loved and over time the label established itself as something exciting in it’s own right. The collective now encompasses artists from across the UK and is distributed internationally through The Cargo Collective.
We specialise in creating events in unusual and spectacular spaces, and have transformed art galleries, churches, museums and cathedrals in to venues for incredible live music.
We have been involved with shows from the following artists:
65daysofstatic, Adebisi Shank, Amusement Parks on Fire, And So I Watch You From Afar, And You Will Know Us By The Trail of Dead, The Appleseed Cast, Arcane Roots, A Winged Victory For The Sullen, Axes, Bats, Black Peaks, Blakfish, Bloc Party, Brontide, Burnt By The Sun, Cats and Cats and Cats, Colour, Crazy Arm, Cutting Pink With Knives, Dananananaykroyd, Deaf Havana, Delta Sleep, Devil Sold His Soul, Dry the River, Dutch Uncles, Earthtone9, Foals, Frank Turner, Gallops, Get Cape Wear Cape Fly, The Horrors, Hot Club De Paris, Iliketrains, Jeniferever, Johnny Foreigner, Katatonia, Kids in Glass Houses, Kong, Ladytron, Listener, Lonely the Brave, Los Campesinos!, Maybeshewill, Mono, Nine Black Alps, Norma Jean, Oceansize, Olafur Arnalds, Polar Bear, Pure Reason Revolution, Reuben, Rolo Tomassi, Secondsmile, Sepultura, Shonen Knife, Sikth, Skindred, Sky Larkin, Stars of the Lid, Tall Ships, Tangled Hair, Tellison, TTNG, This Will Destroy You, Three Trapped Tigers, Tricot, Tubelord, Twilight Sad, Venetian Snares, Vessels, We Are Scientists, We Were Promised Jetpacks, Woahnows, Yourcodenameis:milo and many, many more.
